The Campaign Film

Meet the families behind every plate.

A short film introducing the Sabores of South Philly campaign — the people, the dishes, the corner stores, the storefronts that anchor our neighborhood.

What is Sabores?

A neighborhood made by familias.

Sabores of South Philly is a community campaign created by the Association of Mexican Business Owners of Philadelphia (AEM / AMBOP) to celebrate and amplify the Latino-owned businesses anchoring the 9th Street corridor and surrounding streets.

Every storefront tells a story. Behind every plate, every loaf, every cup, every record, every textile — there's a family, a recipe, an early morning, a late night. This site is your invitation to discover, visit, and support the entrepreneurs who make South Philly a destination.

The campaign clusters around the iconic 9th Street corridor — the Italian Market — but Sabores businesses reach across South Philly and beyond. Tap any pin (or any card) to spotlight that business, with one tap to directions or its social.
